The soft, golden red sand and calm shallow water make this beach a favourite destination for locals and tourists, especially in the summer.
A large park only minutes from the town centre, it’s larger than you think with football fields, a play park, skate park, tennis courts, wetland and two ponds. A great place to walk your dog or escape the crowds and chill in the sun.

Whether you’re looking for an afternoon stroll to take you to a beautiful view or a hike. Head to the beach, turn left or right and you’ll be on the South West Coast Path, the longest National Trail in the UK. The heritage, wildlife, geology and scenery along the way are truly inspirational and full of new experiences.
Enjoy a gentle stroll around the Domesday estate of Churston Ferrers, passing the twelfth century manor and its coaching inn thats said to be haunted by one of the Benedictine monks. The route follows an ancient green lane, as well as a coffin way and a modern walking trail.

A Leisurely Walk Around Roundham Head, wheelchair friendly walk around the headlands rocky red layered cliffs, with some breathtaking views of the whole bay from Berry Head to Thatcher rock.
A lovely little secluded beach very popular with the locals and dog friendly. Situated just 500 metres from Goodrington Sands Beach and just a stones throw to Saltern Cove around the corner.
