Enjoy a virtual tour of the very popular Bantham beach, one the the top beaches to visit in Europe.
Enjoy a virtual tour of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of Burgh Island & Bigbury-on-Sea, one of the most popular destinations in the South Hams.
Situated on a creek of the River Dart steeped in history and surrounded by beautiful countryside, nestled in the green hills of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Famous for its mill pond, crab fishing (aka crabbing) and a 1,000-year-old yew tree in the churchyard.
A quite park between Paignton & Torquay which is part of the South West Coastal Path. This park usually has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere as there’s little to do here. The old facilities that were once here have been removed for some reason or other. Now all that’s here are flowers, shrubbery, trees and the remnants of the old gas works.
Enjoy a virtual tour of Tuckers Maltings annual beer festival with probably the best selection of beers at any beer festival in the country. #tuckersmaltings #beerfestival
On approach you see the lovely mill wheel and building covered in ivy. I had no idea how big the grounds were. When the food arrived it was delicious and I really couldn’t fault it and while you eat you do have company from the free range chickens and peacocks for entertainment. It caters for anyone and everyone and certainly a place I’d be more than happy to return.
Once the home of the famous writer Agatha Christie, now owned by the National Trust. It has hardly been touched over the years and offers a glimpse into the private life of the Queen of Crime and her family.
A fun day out for all the family. If you like your sports, flowers or traditional games the Scoriton Summer Fair has it all. #Scoriton #Dartmoor
The oldest pub in Dartmouth, though It wouldn’t surprise me if you were to walk right on past it as there is next to no signage, just a small sign leaning against a plant by the door. Once inside though your met with old wooden beams, two fireplaces and very friendly staff.
Close to the historic Bayards Cove and the ferry across the river to Kingswear, this is another favourite of mine especially on a sunny day, it has one of the best view of any pub in Dartmouth.
