Shoalstone Beach is a small shingle and rocky beach adjacent to Shoalstone Pool, a 53 metre sea water swimming Pool on Brixham sea front and is one of only a few left in the country. It is built into a natural rock pool that has been popular for bathing since Victorian times.
A shingle beach, with excellent views across the bay.
Mansands is a stunning secluded pebble beach and is best on low tide as it exposes the sand. Behind the beach is a brackish lagoon. This is a haven for birds and there are information boards and a bird hide managed by the National Trust. Grass snakes inhabit the area around the lagoon and can occasionally be seen swimming in the water.
Sometimes spelt Elbury, this is a quiet beach with fantastic views. It’s just a short walk from Broadsands car park around the golf course along the coastal path.
