Enjoy a virtual tour of the The Watering Hole the only bar actually on the beach in the UK.
If you like your cider then this is the place for you with almost everything you can think of. It’s a great place to take your kids with the animals to distract them while you can enjoy a few drinks at the same time. #Healeyscyderfarm #rattler
Taking place on the village church meadow in Kingskerswell, this festival has a really nice chilled relaxed atmosphere. With music from a wide variety of bands (the majority of which are local) and with plenty of beer and activities for the kids, this is a festival for all the family to enjoy. For the last few years there’s been 70+ beers, 20+ Ciders and wines to keep you quenched throughout the day.
It’s not just about the beer, music, dancing and feasting. Occombe Festival is a charity event and festival goers help some of the places we love here in Torbay. 100% of the festival profits go to Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust, who look after Berry Head, Ansteys Cove, Occombe Farm and Cockington. Sun, beer, music, friends and raising money for charity. What more do you need? Lets go….
Enjoy a virtual tour of Tuckers Maltings annual beer festival with probably the best selection of beers at any beer festival in the country. #tuckersmaltings #beerfestival
On approach you see the lovely mill wheel and building covered in ivy. I had no idea how big the grounds were. When the food arrived it was delicious and I really couldn’t fault it and while you eat you do have company from the free range chickens and peacocks for entertainment. It caters for anyone and everyone and certainly a place I’d be more than happy to return.
This is one of my go to stops whenever i’m out in Torquay and usually the place where we meet to start the night. There’s always a live acoustic set from one of the many bands in the bay.
The oldest pub in Dartmouth, though It wouldn’t surprise me if you were to walk right on past it as there is next to no signage, just a small sign leaning against a plant by the door. Once inside though your met with old wooden beams, two fireplaces and very friendly staff.
Close to the historic Bayards Cove and the ferry across the river to Kingswear, this is another favourite of mine especially on a sunny day, it has one of the best view of any pub in Dartmouth.
The oldest building in Dartmouth dating from 1380 and still retaining many of its original interior features, oak beams, leaded lights and big stone fireplace
