Voted best zoo in the world, If your planning on visiting it’s best to get here early, the place is bigger than I thought and you’ll have lots of walking to do, unless you pay the extra for a bus tour. You can easily spend all day here with lots of animals to see including the Cheetah with his doggie best friend and the Pandas.
Step over the ‘most crossed border in the world’ from the USA into Mexico and the car horns stop, Spanish floats by over the breeze, tacos sizzle by the roadside, lots of great restaurants, dynamic craft beer, urban art and zealous nightlife.
The USS Midway is incredibly well preserved history museum and very Interesting place. Being on a ship of this size is an experience in itself and then you have all the aircraft around to check out as well. The workers are very knowledgeable, you can easily spend hours looking around.
San Diego one of the most chilled out friendly places I’ve visited in the US, you’d be hard-pressed to think of a more laid-back place. The surfer dudes are always happy to show people their city. From hiking, days at the beach, runnin, or the downtown Gaslamp area, as well as the famous Pacific Beach, is full of trendy seafood restaurants, bustling bars, and some amazing taco stalls.
San Diego Safari Park for me was the best zoo I have ever been to, it’s the closest you will ever get to actually experiencing the animals in there natural environment.
