Hey there my name is Ashley Blagdon, but you can call me Ash. I’m a Google 360 photographer/writer/adventurer. Born in the sunny English Riviera of Torbay UK, I’m a country boy at heart with a love for sun. I‘d been working for the same company for 15 years dreaming of seeing the world, until one day I decided to stop dreaming and start chasing. I have a few hobbies, playing the saxophone, climbing and some would say I have an unhealthy affection for Formula One, but everyone has a hobby they can’t get enough of right?
Growing up in Torbay on the coast gave me a love for the outdoors. The coastal paths, woodland walks not to mention the beautiful Dartmoor on the doorstep. Seeing all this as a child inspired me to discover and see other beautiful places, I’ve always thought the world was a big place and I wanted to explore it.
It’s not about the amount of countries you visit, I’ve seen people land take one step and say they’ve been. For me, it’s all about the experiences you have while you’re there. I’ve been lucky to have travelled a few places and im always working on more. I’ve experienced some wonderful places, sitting on the edge of the awe inspiring Grand Canyon, getting lost in the souks of Morocco, walking the treacherous Caminito Del Rey, spending a night under the stars on the stunning Maya Beach and many many more.
Since picking up my first 360 camera early in 2016, I’ve been obsessed with 360 photography. I now don’t go anywhere without having one with me so I can take LOTS of amazing pictures. Now having used 4 different cameras so far to learn this fast growing new technology, I hope I can now help other 360 photographers out there of all skill levels and hopefully help inspire to create amazing images that STAND OUT. My mission is to photograph/video as much as I can in 360°.
With this site you no longer have to wonder what its like out of the frame. You have control and get to explore all around these places with me, seeing what I see and if you own a VR headset you can actually completely immerse yourself like your there with me. I want to share with you exactly what it’s truly like in these places. I want to provide you with an honest opinion, inspire and give you an insight into my adventures using 360° photography. Hopefully you’ll find some of my posts useful, or at least entertaining.
I could sit here and carry on rambling on about myself and my life that I’m wanting to share with you, but then there would be no need for you to look at the rest of my site. Go ahead, check out my adventures and enjoy looking around in 360° 🙂
P.S -Find something you love doing in life. We’re only here once, so make it worthwhile and more importantly have fun.
