Terminal 21 is a shopper’s paradise and a foodies haven, both for locals and travelers alike.
This place is pretty cool for a shopping mall, you’ll know i’m not one for shopping but they’ve made this interesting by having a different theme for each of the 9 floors. One floor your in the Caribbean, then Rome, Istanbul and more. San Francisco takes up the top 2 floors and Pier 21 is a foodies haven and one of the best food courts to eat in Bangkok. Just pick up a food card from the hall counter and pick and choose at will. I found there was to much choice, it took me ages to decide. In fact you’ll probably end up having 2 or even 3 meals, so make sure you’re hungry.
Located on Sukhumvit Road (between Soi 19 and 21) It opened in October 2011, Terminal 21 is a one floor one theme shopping mall, with nine floors, some 600 shops, a Cineplex, Gourmet Market (supermarket) and a food court. The concept is market streets of the world. It is decorated based on well-known streets in cities such as Rome, Paris, Tokyo, London, Istanbul. This mall has the longest escalators in Thailand, up to 36 metres.
