Wat Saen Muang Ma Luang, a hidden gem just off the beaten track.
I was just casually walking down the street with friends when we stumbled across this temple. Tucked away down a narrow drive was this very quiet complex with very few tourists. The buildings are very ornate with many new statues still covered up. This is a fairly new complex (or recently completely restored) that surrounds an old and quite large stupa/chedi. The buildings weren’t accessible so we just wandered the gardens.
This seemed to be a fairly new complex and there was no information around to explain who, what, when, where or why. All i found out was it is also referred to as Wat Hua Khuang.
