- The Neewer Monopod is identical to the Manbilly.
The Manbilly A222 is a great little compact monopod with a quick lock system. I prefer this for 360 photography as i find the monopods with clips show up in the nadir. This remains hidden and gives you a much easier nadir to remove in photoshop. I’ve been using this for a few months now and its been reliable.
It’s well built, sturdy has a good hand grip, easy twist quick release sections, has 1/4 thread adapter one end and 3/8 the other and a rubber foot so it can also can be used as a hiking stick when necessary. The stand replaces the rubber foot and folds back on itself, so it doesn’t add very much to the length. The carry bag is really useful and allows you to carry the monopod around like a backpack.
What’s included:
1 x Manbily A-222 Monopod
1 x Base
1 x Carrying bag
Here’s all the parts.
Tip: Turn it upside down and have the narrow end at the top and lose the big round plate.
Tip: Use a dumbbell or ankle weight to add weight for outdoor use.

Item weight: 862g
Screw Size: 1/4 & 3/8″
Min.Height: 45cm

This is a great monopod for any 360 Camera and out of all the affordable monopods available this has been the best i’ve tried so far and hasn’t broke on me after a year of use. I would definitely recommend this if your on a budget. The foldable legs add 2cm so the total length when fully extended is actually 167cm (5ft).
