Here is a sample photo uploaded to Panoraven (shot on Samsung Gear 360). You can also view it as a direct link that can be shared via email, text message or other ways.
I like the slight shading around the edges giving it a 3d effect finishing it off nicely. Unless you buy one of the other pricing options your uploads will have the Panoraven logo in the top left, but this is expected considering its free.
They do allow you to create a slideshow (without logging in), kind of like a simple virtual tour. After uploading a photo, you have the option to add up to 5 360 photos by clicking on the Edit +/- buttons on the bottom of the upload screen. You can view the next photo by clicking on the arrows beside the zoom slider on the bottom. You can view the direct link here.
If you upload a 360 photo without creating an account, then you don’t have any control over it. As soon as you close the window or navigate away you won’t be able to find it again to re select it for the codes, you’ll have to re upload again. There is no way to delete or hide an upload, so anyone who finds the link will see your photo (although uploaded photos aren’t shown in a public gallery). If you were to upload a wrong photo by accident, the only way to delete it is to select “Edit -” on the bottom in the upload screen while your there. If you have navigated away from that, for now anyway, you won’t ever be able to delete the photo.
You do get more control if you create an account, but there is no free account only a choice of monthly fees. Then you can change the title, add your own logo and erase photos you have uploaded. An account costs you either $10/mo (Starter) or $29/mo (Business).
I find the limit of 15mb a little frustrating, I even had to search through numerous photos just to find one to upload as an example. As long as you know the limits, Panoraven is a convenient way to share 360 photos or to add them to your site. If you want to give it a try check out their website and upload a photo.
