The Only Independent Village Pub In Torbay. Purpose built in the 19th century to replace a cider house that had been closed. It’s the centre of life in the Dartside village.
Mansands is a stunning secluded pebble beach and is best on low tide as it exposes the sand. Behind the beach is a brackish lagoon. This is a haven for birds and there are information boards and a bird hide managed by the National Trust. Grass snakes inhabit the area around the lagoon and can occasionally be seen swimming in the water.
