The Manbily A-222 is a great little compact monopod with a quick lock system. I prefer this for 360 photography as i find the monopods with clips show up in the nadir. This remains hidden and gives you a much easier nadir to remove in photoshop. I’ve been using this for a few months now and it’s been reliable.
It’s well built, sturdy has a good hand grip, easy twist quick release sections, has 1/4 thread adapter one end and 3/8 the other and a rubber foot so it can also can be used as a hiking stick when necessary. The stand replaces the rubber foot and folds back on itself, so it doesn’t add very much to the length. The carry bag is really useful and allows you to carry the monopod around like a backpack.

The Manbily A-222 is a great affordable monopod that can be used with any camera not just 360. When you reverse it and remove the plate it then has a slim end that won’t show up in the nadir of your photos. Out of all the affordable monopods I have tried this has been the best so far and hasn’t broke on me after a year of use. I would definitely recommend this if your on a budget.
