The Clock Tower in 360
Enjoy a virtual tour of St. Leonard’s Tower or as it is known to most locals, “The Clock Tower” is probably Newton Abbots best known landmark.
I’ve walked past this landmark many times over the years and never before now have I actually stopped to read any of the information. I figured many probably do the same, so I took a few shots as it was a gorgeous day.
Location/Facts
The tower is all that remains of the medieval chapel of St Leonard, founded in 1220 and consists of grey limestone from Dartmoor. It’s 60 feet tall, 55 feet long by 20 foot wide.
