Enjoy a 360 virtual tour of Silver Cove, Brixham a small little gem where you’ll more than likely have the entire beach to yourself.
Silver Cove is a small secluded shingle beach not far from Elberry Cove and part of the seven Churston quarries in Brixham. To get here you walk through Marriage Woods alongside the Golf Coarse until you come to a steep path that will lead you to the cliff edge. It’s here it gets a little tricky and steeper still down to the beach, but as long as you keep 3 points of contact you shouldn’t have any problems. Due to the very slippery steep path it’s unsuitable for those with walking difficulties. It would probably be easier to come here by kayak.
Once on the shingle though you will more than likely have the entire cove to yourself, I spent 30 minutes here with a friend and had it been a nice sunny day we may have stayed longer as we didn’t see another sole and all you could hear were the waves lapping against the shore and the birds singing. A great little hidden gem to escape the crowds.

- The beach is all but covered at high tide.
- In the summer of 1996 people in the village of Churston started to report seeing a Bigfoot-like beast in the dense, creepy woodland. However nothing has been reported since 2006.
